How are drivers matched with freight?

Drivers are matched to freight based on proximity. Equipment (i.e., reefers) is also taken into consideration. Loads on haulme typically need to be picked up by the driver within three hours of being matched.

How do I reset my password?

Whether you are a shipper using our web portal or a driver using either our Android or iOS apps you can reset your password right in our software. Our recommendation is that you keep your password in a secure location (or even better yet memorize it!) for your protection. The team here at haulme takes security very seriously.

Who do I contact for technical support?

You can always email support@haulme.com with account set up or freight issues. In addition to that, for shippers on the platform we provide a higher level of service through your own password protected corporate account. Whatever the issue – we will make it right

Which operating systems and platforms does haulme support?

The current and most recent versions of Android and iOS are supported. Chrome and Internet Explorer (current version and previous major version) web browsers are also supported.

How are drivers validated?

Drivers are given a background check for safety records and criminal activity through selected government systems. Their DOT number is also checked for validity.

Do drivers have insurance?

Yes, all drivers are required to carry proof of personal, cargo, and vehicle insurance and cannot sign up for haulme without it.

How will I get updated on driver progress with my freight?

The haulme app tracks drivers’ status based on their GPS locations. Shippers will see a dashboard to review driver progress. Shippers can also see the status of the load. If a load is falling behind schedule, shippers can message drivers for a check call through the haulme app.

How do I receive bills of lading and other documents from the driver?

Drivers will receive their bills of lading from shippers at freight pick-up. Drivers will submit bills of lading and other documents through the haulme app. Shippers will be able to access these documents through the haulme site. They can also accept and reject the documents.

When do I pay for my delivered freight?

Once the proof of delivery documents are submitted, shippers will review and approve payment. In most cases, drivers should expect to see funds transferred to their accounts within 24 hours.

Do I need a smartphone or tablet to use haulme?

Yes, drivers will need a smartphone or tablet with an Android or iOS operating system to log into haulme and accept loads. The smartphone or tablet is also required to capture documents and send messages to the shipper. Smartphones or tablets need to be enabled with GPS.

How can I contact the shipper with questions and concerns?

The haulme app allows drivers to contact shippers via email, text, and voice call through a unique phone number to ensure prompt service.

How do I submit bills of lading and other documents to the shipper?

Drivers can use their smartphone cameras to capture images of documents within the haulme app and submit directly to the shipper.

How can I get paid by shippers?

Once the proof of delivery documents are submitted, shippers will review and approve payment. Drivers will need to provide bank account information.

How soon will I be paid?

Typically, drivers should expect to see funds transferred to their accounts within 24 hours.

How are shippers validated?

Background checks are completed to ensure the shipper is credit-worthy and has a business in good standing.
